Hey there, I’m Tanishka "To-To" Wilson, and if there's one thing you should know about me, it's music was my first love. As I grew older, I discovered my passion for business and helping others achieve their dreams. My journey through the music world began with a clarinet in my hands, playing first chair in several bands and honing my skills at the prestigious Blue Lake camp. Music wasn't just a passion; it became my life's rhythm.
Fast forward to the hustle and bustle of Detroit. I witnessed shady promoters exploiting aspiring artists, promising them record deals that never materialized. The industry’s trust was shattered, and so was my heart. But instead of standing by, I decided to step up and make a change.
I hit the books, attended industry conferences, and devoured every book on the music business I could find. At a Billboard conference, sitting in on an artist management session, I realized I had the answers, the knowledge, and the passion to make a real difference. That was my “aha” moment, and there was no turning back.
I founded Eklectiq Enterprise with a mission: to help artists succeed, but only those who believe in themselves and are ready to invest in their journey. My philosophy is simple – I root for the underdog. I’m here to rebuild trust in the industry, providing artists with the ethical management they deserve, so they can focus on what they do best: creating.
Why am I so selective? Because success requires more than just talent. It demands ego-checking, accountability, loyalty, self-awareness, and above all, patience. I bring my business acumen and my role as a Personnel Agent subject matter expert in Michigan to the table, ensuring my clients get the best guidance and support.
Beyond management/consulting, I’ve made waves as a Music Supervisor for independent films like "Dymez" and "Homeboy", Executive Producer for "Dymez the Original Motion Picture Soundtrack" (available on all streaming platforms), and even stepped into the role of Executive Producer for "Homeboy." After a brief hiatus, I’m back with a renewed mission. There are countless talented artists out there, silenced by fear and trust issues, and it’s time they got heard.
